A couple years ago, a fellow organizer told me that they didn’t like going to trans protests. They were tired of fighting for their existence.

This post is for everyone still fighting. This post is for you, resisting your family’s bigotry. This post is for you, working to build queer and trans spaces. This post is for you, fighting the institutions that claim to represent you. This post is for you, the queer revolutionary. This post is for you, seeing hate and fascism rise and still fighting.

I am writing this weary—I do not want to fight right now. This post is in solidarity, for you have been here too. I have nothing for you now except solidarity. We keep fighting, for if not us, then who?
